Are You Ready for Some FOOTBALL?!

This was Benjamin's first SuperBowl. He didn't get any treats like mom and dad, but he did get his binki dipped in some diet soda which he really enjoyed. He sat and watched about half the game then moved on to playing with his toys and working on crawling. We had a great SuperBowl party, even though it was just our little family. Benjamin makes everything more fun!

New Jammies

Benjamin got some new pajamas. They are 18-month size! He's only 8 months! I thought the monkey pajamas would be appropriate since Benjamin loves to climb around and get into mischief.

Fun at Bathtime

Benjamin loves taking baths. He splashes the whole time and makes lots of noise! As a result, mom is usually pretty wet by the time bathtime is over, but Benjamin is so cute it's all worth it.

Surprise! Happy 50th, Papa!

For Rachel's dad's 50th birthday he went to Pocatello to visit his granddaughters. We wanted to surprise him so we left at 6 am on Saturday to get to Pocatello by 9. Unfortunately our car had other plans and broke down in Bountiful. 8 hours and one new(er) car later we made it to Pocatello. Even though it was a pretty rotten trip the results were great. We got to spend time with all of Rachel's family and Benjamin loved playing with his cousins, aunts and uncle and his grandparents.

Ben's first BYU Basketball Game

BYU had a Saturday game that was in the afternoon and bench seats were only $1. BYU played CSU and beat them big time. Benjamin watched the game for most of the first half, fell asleep, and played with his socks most of the second half. I guess basketball games are a little too long for a 7 month-old. Even so we had a great time at the game.
