One Month Old!

Benjamin turned one month old on Sunday, June 21st. I made him a cake (which he did NOT eat) and let him stay up late (which was actually his choice; not mine). Here are some fun facts about Benjamin at one month old:

• Height: 21 inches (50th percentile)
• Weight: 8 lbs 11.5 oz. (25th percentile)
• Favorite Food: Milk
• Favorite Color: Blue - or at least it's mom's favorite color for him to wear
• Favorite Time of Day: Middle of the night
• Favorite Primary Song: Happy Song
• Favorite Classical Song: Fur Elise
• Likes: Bathtime, Eating, Cuddling close, Reading stories, and Riding in the car
• Dislikes: Being hungry, Getting his diaper/clothes changed, Being cold, and Losing his pacifier.

I can't believe it's been one month all ready, which is surprising because some days feel as long as a month. We are still getting used to each other, but we are enjoying having Benjamin as a part of our family.

Special Visitors

Benjamin's Grandma and Grandpa Mecham came down from Oregon to meet him for the first time. He had a lot of fun with them, but they wore him out! He slept most of the time they were here, which gave them the erroneous impression that he sleeps a lot! It was so nice to have them finally meet Benjamin and spoil him a little.

Three Weeks Old - Video

Due Date

Today is my official due date and Benjamin is 20 days old. We had a doctor appointment yesterday and Ben weighs 7 lbs 13 oz now and he is 20 1/2 inches long. He is in the 45th percentile for height and the 15th percentile for weight. He seems big to us though! Dennis and I are really tired but we enjoy every minute with Benjamin. Here are some pictures from the last little while.
